How isn’t an accidental overdose considered suicide?

Wouldn’t an accidental overdose be considered accidental suicide.

    Because whoever aren't able to determine if it was an accident.

    Only if it was a new medication to the person,. The first time taking the medicine, then they could say it was an accident.

    Otherwise, this type of thing usually requires a thought out plan.

    Because they didn't know they were gonna die. When you're high all the time you feel invincible. Most people I know who OD didn't want to die, they were just willing to risk their life.

    No such thing as accidental suicide, by definition, which is: Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death.

    As you can see. if it's an accident then it's not "intentional" and therefore not suicide.

      Technically speaking that's true, but it is commonly accepted that a suicide intended to die. A death by accidental overdose is considered just that -- accidental and therefore unintentional.
