    it produces mono, di and tri esters.. just like the in the name esterification.

    Propane-1,2,3-triol, is almost universally known as Glycerol. The reaction produces esters of glycerol known as glycerides. If there is sufficient carboxylic acid present the triglyceride will be the favoured product but mono and di, glyceides will form depending on the reactant proportions.
