Is it important to be on good terms with a previous job?

I’m working at a job right now where they don’t like me and wouldn’t say good things about me. It is seasonal and have not been fired but have two weeks left before the season ends. Is it important that I am in good terms with them when applying for a new job. Do they call the supervisor?

Stick out the last two weeks and work hard. Its not worth leaving sooner.

You never know who knows who...not worth leaving them in a lurch.

    Hello James!

Are you sure you need to be on good terms with them? If you need a good reference from the previous employer then there are different ways to avoid a bad reference. And by the way, I am not quite sure that future employers still check references for the previous job.
