Can an overactive thyroid during puberty cause you to be taller than you are predetermined to be?

I know hypothyroidism can impede growth, but can hyperthyroidism or taken a higher dose of thyroxine than needed increase potential growth?

Taking excessive thyroxine just stops your body producing any.

Hyperthyroidism is likely to be detected through other symptoms long before it starts increasing height. Excessive height gain is not a listed symptom.
