Why do you have a question of submachine guns under the Baby Names category?

Them some classic Red Army machine pistols. Pre WWII and WWII. The # after the letters like 34/38 or 41 is genius and stands for the year created. Super durable, simple operating function, with minimal req to maintain function. The PPD's are worth a whole lottaaaaa money now. The PPS is still worth some money, but not like PPD since they can be found more than PPD being PPS(awarded WWII best=5 Car&Driver JD associates?) replaced PPD, basically due to current scarcity. Stalin a evil dude and would let it be known to all his factory workers if there is a heavy delay that he will, and did gun them all down; I guess labor laws, EEO and 401k was different then. Well anyways let's break it down:

Top PPD-34/38(34 slightly different barrel portholes) w/ Suomi drum magazine (71 Round Capacity I believe); interesting enough the mag was a stolen design from the Finnish whom they fought late 1930's, Middle is PPSh-41 shown w/ same magazine as the PPD(both SMG's[sub machine gun] cyclical rates 400-500/min...not bad eh), and is Bottom PPS-43 with a 25 round box magazine inserted.

With limited resources, as you see the wood stock and grip this is due to the limited amount of steel in the country being used on those firearms and instead steel was used for more important, at least they thought so, builds.
