What would Lyndon B. Johnson have thought if he had met Jimmy Carter?

I imagine they probably did meet.
Carter was a state senator in Georgia at the time LBJ was trying to get Civil Rights - and particularly the Voting Rights Act - passed. LBJ visited Georgia several times during the process. It would have been unusual for a Democratic state senator not to have met the Democratic President as this was all going on.
And as they were both WWII Pacific Navy veterans, they would have had quite a bit to talk about.
LBJ probably would have thought Carter was a bit tight-laced, but they would have agreed on a lot of political issues.

Carter had considerable charm, and was a navy officer. I think LBJ would have respected him as a person.

They were both naval officers so had much in common.

Probably not much.
But I wonder what Reagan would think of Trump!

There’s a man who didn’t let his d!ck get him into a war that cost him the presidency and didn’t end until the week he died.
