Is it possible to get a horse to lie still for 48 hours so I can make a plaster cast of it?

It's for an art project?

    Just spitballing here, but dead horses don't move. You wouldn't even have to remove it from the plaster.

    No, but perhaps you can contact a rendering plant and see if they will let you.

    No, they cannot lie for long as it squashes their internal organs.

    Yes. It's very possible, assuming whether or not the animal is alive is not relevant.
