I don't know a thing about Russell. Is he a school custodian, a workplace custodian, a custodian for an apartment complex? Is he young, old, lazy, ambitious, friendly, helpful, and good at his job--or not? But you know about Russell, and I'm assuming the poem should be complimentary and meant to show your appreciation for Russell. Take what you know to be true about him and write down his positive attributes. Poems do not need to rhyme, and a tribute poem reads well without rhyme.
