    Written with standard states:

    C6H12O6(s) + 6O2(g) --> 6CO2(g) + 6H2O(𝓁)

    No ions are involved, only molecules, so Mike's statement about no ionic or net ionic equation is absolutely correct.

    Chemical equations .....

    The balanced molecular equation is....

    C6H12O6(g) + 6O2(g) --> 6CO2(g) + 6H2O(g)

    Since this reaction occurs in the gas phase, and since there are absolutely no ions involved, there is NO ionic or net ionic equation.
