Are Rusyns and Ukrainians the same people?

Update:

Rusyns are not Russians! Rusyns are a people who live in Ukraine, read up and give me an educated answer if you can.

    Great minds don't know, how to determine Rusyns. But you try to find answer in trollfield like yahoo. Sory, there can't be exactly answer, at least today.

    If you mean Russians and Ukrainians then no, Russians are citizens of Russia, Ukrainians are citizens of Ulkraine, ethnically ( culture, customs affiliations and associations ) are different

      Rusyns (sometimes spelled Rusins, or called Carpatho-Rusyns signifying their villages being in the Carpathian Mountains) are one of the many nationalities/ethnic groups of Slovakia, along with Slovaks, Hungarians, Germans, and Romanies (Gypsies).

    They are genetically very similar,almost the same. But some Rusyns like to class themselves in a different ethnic group,while many others will class themselves as Ukrainians.
