Is there a place- lab - to send a manure sample to have it tested for nitrogen?

You can send it to your county extension agency. I have also seen soil test bags offered at places like Home Depot, where you mail your sample off to an agriculture-oriented (usually state) college for testing.

Six piles of horse or 12 of cow dung, or a coffee can full of goat dung, thirty gallons of water and two weeks of waiting and stirring, Great fertilizer.

You don't need to send your soil or manure sample to have it tested for nitrogen Amazon sells a soil test kit for under $12. any person can test their own soil or manure in just a few minutes with the strips and the chemicals that are provided it's very easy here's a picture of it.
