What should I do when I call a company for technical support on a product that i just purchased & the person that i get connected to sounds?

like he/she knows very little and if i complain they give me this ____ excuse I'm new

    Ask to speak to someone else. Because they're new to the job it means they're not experienced enough to deal with all support. You're not being rude.

    Ask to speak with a manager

    Tell the person you want to speak to his/her supervisor and you stay on the phone. If you are put on hold for an unnecessary length of time hang up and call again.

    tell them you need to talk to someone that knows more about it

    Conclude the call politely then call back in the hopes you get a more experienced tech.
