How can I be more comfortable during my spin class?

I'm not the most athletically fit and I'm naturally built large and plus size. I'd think the extra cushion of my butt would make it comfortable to do spin class but my first class I could barely keep up because my *** hurt the entire time. I'd think the extra cushion of my butt would make it comfortable to do spin class but my first class I could barely keep up because my *** hurt the entire time. It's later in the day and I have hard spots that I typically only get if I've been sitting too long that I know came from the class. Is this normal since I never ride any form of a bike so I just wouldn't know or is there a way to be more comfortable? My thick thighs are also a smaller issue since I'm close built and they rub against the saddle when sprinting.
