what is the maximum amount I can borrow to unsecured personal loan?
- ron hLv 74 months ago
there's no standard answer. Each bank (or credit union) has its own rules. It could vary from nothing to $50,000 or more. Credit, income (and stability of income) and ability to repay are REALLY important. Your first call for general info and max loan policy should be with a bank or credit union you do business with.

Most banks will loan no more than $5000 on an unsecured personal loan. How much the bank will loan you is going to be based on how long you've been a customer of the bank; your history with the bank; and your credit rating.

Whatever the cash advance limit is on your credit card(s).

Nobody here can possibly know that. Depends on a lot of things about you and about the lender.

It would vary based on your credit and income.
I could get up to $50,000. Most people would get $0.

That depends how rich and trusting your friends and family are.

That is entirely up to the individual lender. If you don't have really good credit, the answer will likely be $0.
