I was talking about a certain crimes on my other yahoo account (before it got suspended) and someone messaged me saying?

That they were reporting my question to the authorities. How can they report my question about a crime to the authorities if I am only talking about a crime and not admitting to one ?

Don't worry because the police aren't usually interested unless a crime has been committed. It's not a crime to ask questions. Sometimes, people online just like to be giant A holes.

Anyone can notify anyone of anything. It's that simple.

Do the authorities do anything? Ask the girl in Canada and the guy in Western NY, both of whom were visited by the Police.

    These boards are monitored.

They can report anything they want.

That doesn't mean the authorities will do anything about it.

How? They just report it, that's all. There's nothing physically stopping them.
