How do I gain more pounds in a healthy way?

I'm a male 16 and I weigh 120 soon turning 17 in December I need to gain more in order to be healthy now do I quickly gain more in the healthy way? Healthy foods which I should eat? I also started working out so anything to gain pounds helps my thighs are big but my upper body is not.

    Eat foods rich in proteins but also remember to have 5 servings of fruits and veggies per day. You should consume more NON SUGAR carbohydrates like rice and pasta. Also a good dietary supplyment would be Ensure. Also eat some nuts, they're rich in healthy fat.

    Try this healthy weight gain meal plan, 3 meals with 2 snacks-

    Breakfast-

    2 egg omelet with 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

    1 piece whole wheat toast with butter

    16 oz whole milk

    Snack-

    banana with 2 tablespoon peanut butter

    Lunch-

    8 oz grilled chicken thighs over 2 cups brown rice

    large salad with dressing

    12 oz apple juice

    Snack-

    1 cup cottage cheese mixed with 1/2 cup diced pineapples

    Dinner-

    12 oz NY steak

    large loaded potato

    1 cup grilled asparagus

    16 oz coke

      I do eat lots of meat and vegetables I've been trying to eat so much and I've only gained like 2 pounds in the past month

    If I were you I would lift heavy weights. That way you're gaining weight... but by building muscle.
