I still feel incredibly fat even though I'm losing weight?

I use to be 270 pounds and now I am down to 205 pounds as a 5'10 male. I still feel ridiculously fat, like I know I am still fat as frick still and still have some to go but I don't feel like I'm any smaller than I was before. Is this normal?

    Do you wear smaller clothes?

Do you go up and down stairs with far less effort?

Do you sleep better at night?

If you answered 'yes' to all those are much better off than what you were. You're just asking for more of the same, only at a faster pace. Be patient and let your diet/exercise do it's job.

It's likely that before you didn't even care about your weight but now that you do you actually care you notice that you are somewhat overweight. Good for you to get this far and keep going...

... and don't worry about it. Just remember not to take it too far: there is a healthy range of fat and some people like to take it from one extreme to another. Good health is about balance, you just have to find the right balance point.
