Why don't they make socks out of kevlar?

    They should .. they'd keep your feet dry if you were wearing snowshoes.

    I expect that the statistics for the number of people dying after being shot in the feet is really low. So does not really provide a profitable return for a niche market product.

    Very uncomfortable, scratchy and why would you unless you plan on shooting yourself in the foot!
