Better at what? They are both great singers and song writers. I like Rod slightly more than Mick

I never quite understood the popularity of either. On my view, neither has a good-enough voice to be the "front man" of a band. I don't find either any better than Ringo Starr, which would make them 4th-best in The Beatles & probably not good enough to sing with The Hollies. Jagger wrote or co-wrote several good songs, which makes him more versatile than Stewart.

I'd prefer Rod Stewart. Not all of his songs sound alike (unlike those of the Rolling Stones since about 1968). He also doesn't strut around the stage like some sort of deranged rooster.
