Has Britain shifted responsibility to Canada by strippin Jack Letts of his British citizenship?

It seems that it is just one less terrorist to have to deal with from the British governments point of view.

    It's abdicated its responsibilities.

    yes.

total disgrace saying Canada should take him and anyway it is purely for political gain and on media sites and on tv shows discussing him they say the government was right to strip him of his British citizenship.

He said he went to fight Assad who we said was killing his own people and he said he killed no one anyway.

so he cannot now sue the conservative government because he still holds a Canadian passport who will no doubt be sued if they make him stateless.

yes, we might have won the war against isis but now are losing the peace not knowing what to do with these wives of Isis fighters and children and fighters of Isis.

And he said he wanted to come back to the UK because he misses doctor who.

What will happen to him if he is in jail in Syria anyway and if he has not been tried for anything or convicted then he must be released?

We started, together with the Americans the total destabilisation of the Middle-East thus, causing all the religious-freaks to come out of the woodwork. Then we blame them, instead of our actions, for making them what they are. It's called hypocrisy.

Now we pass the buck to the Canadians to let them clean-up after our mess. Typical UK politicians, like water they will always find the shortest way.

Jack Letts is a deep-seated criminal and all efforts should be made by the UK to bring him to justice for the murders that he has committed. But we are not entirely without blame.

The UK has been trying to kill that man for some time. Officially of course we are no longer doing that, but unofficially of course we are. These things are always done by the SIS through layers, lies told to criminal gangs, money supplied to local thugs, and a plausible violent death. Much cheaper than the cruise missiles and smart bombs that were ready for him while he was still in Syria.

Canada can do the same, those dummies who went to a war zone to join IS dont deserve any consideration , since they chose to leave, they made their bed so to speak now they can lie in it.

Yes , but it has saved the Tax Payers the cost of a trial. He chose to join IS nobody forced him to now he must accept the consequences.

Leave him where he is. He went there of his own volition, no one forced him to go, it's where he wanted to be. How happy must he be, to be in the place he wants to be!

Yes, now he and he can take advantage of his Canadian citizenship. Perhaps his terrorist funding parents should move to Canada too.

Dad being Canadian was happy for his son to be Canadian .....when it suited.

If they can, people like offloading their problems on others. Countries aren't much different. Yes.

Letts has no option but to appeal to Canada (he has no other citizenship) and Canada has no other choice but to allow him (our laws are such that a Canadian citizen cannot be barred from the country, unless we strip him of citizenship as well). So functionally the UK's problem child has now become Canada's problem child by the stroke of a pen.
