Actually, you need to start the 'abortion narrative' at the beginning, not just where it is convenient for you. Most of the people adamantly opposed to abortion believe that women need to be protected, which includes their honor and virginity. The women most vocal about 'proving' to everyone, (and apparently to GOD), that our/His insistence that we arrange society with those priorities is 'contrary to personal liberty' tend to be so outspoken because they were raped, coerced into sex, abused by someone in a position of power, or otherwise taken advantage of by someone 'stronger' than them.
Did I miss the part where these women demonstrated how they DON'T need to be protected?
Under Christian rule, women were protected from rape, which only occurred during open war when their protectors were otherwise engaged defending society itself. They were also protected from exploitation by fornicators, since marriage was highly valued and virginity was prized. Women have become barely distinguishable from sodomites in their sexuality, only lacking the male member. In recent days, even this is being 'overcome' through transgender 'realizations' and actual surgeries.
Is this REALLY what you want for women? Is this REALLY what women wanted when they cried out against GOD and nature for 'sexual liberation?'
Sex belongs in monogamous marriage. Women should feel no shame in embracing and requiring society's protections. Rape is a crime against humanity itself and should NEVER be 'tolerated,' (in or out of prison), since it is an act of open war. Our priorities should reflect this. Once those are established, 'liberty' is respect for privacy and choice WITHIN those protections.
A fetus is a 'champion of life' which overcame breathtaking odds just to form from out of billions of competitors and through a gauntlet of forces oppositional to life. It has no 'bias' based on its formation and deserves every chance to live. Nature and GOD are perfectly capable of deciding otherwise. This is called 'stillbirth' or 'miscarriage.' Interfering it this process requires a doctor of medicine educated at great expense to society, an act of Congress, a majority decision of the Supreme Court, high technology for safety for the mother arrived at through the expenditure of vast treasure and other lives, and the expressed will of the expectant mother shaped by relentless social pressures. Ever wonder why all of this is necessary? Why isn't it 'easier?'
A fetus is a living soul with every bit as much will to live as any adult and murdering them requires an equally daunting conspiracy of evil, if not more so, since they cannot yet even be convinced to participate in their own self-destruction.
A vibrant and SAFE sexuality can be practiced inside of monogamous marriage; a sexuality which is NOT also killing people at rates comparable to open war, (unlike fornication which has destroyed 70 million people, dead or dying from just a single lethal virus alone, now comparable to the total casualties on both sides of World War II). This is not even factoring in the 100 million + abortions. Is mass death REALLY your idea of 'personal freedom?'
No sensible person can call this any form of 'liberty.' It is exactly the opposite.
34"Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. 35“The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. 36“So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:34-36).
