Spacer On a dually Hub Centric or Not (Ram)?

OK, so i have a 2018 Ram 3500 dually. Im planning on larger tires around 285/70/17 maybe 305/70/17 on ATs on the factory "Alcoas". I know it can be done, but what my question is about the 2in spacers between the duals. I noticed many forms where people are running Hub Centric ones which i would do. Thing is, a buddy of mine gave me 2 in spacers off his 1 ton he sold since the engine was beginning to fail (excessive blowby).. They are not Hub Centric but seem decent quality (steel). )Does it really matter if they are Centric or not? last i read Ram is bolt(lug) centric.

And what possible reason for putting oversized tires on a work truck? Sounds like a REALLY STUPID idea to me.

You dont know the circumstances to make suck accusations. Besides, not all dually trucks are work trucks
