green light (520 nm) enters glass with n=1.52what is the wavelength of light in glass?

    Forgive me if I sound stupid here,,but what is the variable n?

    Sounds like smoke to confuse you as the wavelength would be the same.

    Compared with a different wavelength, it would be slightly longer or shorter.

    Assuming refractive index, the angle would be about 32 degrees(guess)

    I would have to re engineer Snells law from here but the calculator is down and not up to figuring on paper.

    Why are you just dumping all your homework here?

    v = c/n and f=v/lamda.

    The frequency doesn’t change so wavelength is proportional to speed , which implies wavelength is inversely proportionate to n.

    Hence in the glass

    lambda = 520nm/1.52 = 342nm.
