Does anyone get really paranoid around inanimate objects. Like I’m convinced my family’s toothbrushes stare at me and judge me? Idk why tho?

I used to be, in a way. When I was a kid, the environment I grew up in made me so terribly afraid of nudity and so intensely ashamed and embarrassed to be seen naked, when I went into the bathroom to use the can or take a shower, I had to overturn or cover every newspaper and magazine that had someone's picture on it. I was afraid of being seen naked by photographs; in a way, that was paranoia, because of the fear that being seen by pictures would somehow result in ridicule and judgment towards me. It was a debilitating, deep seated phobia that I am so incredibly thankful I completely liberated myself from at about age 14.
