Hope you have an inside cabin and don't go out any any decks!

All depends on the size of the ship and their boarding techniques.

Some have open loading bays at practically ground level. Others, have pierside buildings, that can be 5 stories tall with elevators, and you board thru one of the higher decks.

and Others........yes, sometimes use long inclined ramps over a good piece of open water. .....but little chance of falling off unless you are really trying.

It is fully enclosed so don't worry.

Depends on where you are boarding the ship. Some will have you walk up a covered gangway. Its wide and stable but you still see how high up you are

You in an enclosed walkway. You're really not aware of being at a height. But it's shame if you can't look out over the side of the ship!

Anywhere from 10 to 150 feet.
