Why does President Trump think purchasing Greenland is "strategically interesting"?

I’m assuming Distraction… the price tag would exceed the $22 Trillion National Debt! Meanwhile he claims War exercises with South Korea are Expensive and Provocative! The Irony is completely lost on him and his moronic Cult! What do you think?

Look at the geographic proximity of Greenland to Russia. And there is more to it than it's strategic value. Greenland is rich in natural resources that we could use.

It’s location is strategic militarily and it is of interest because of the natural resources. It’s similar to why the U.S. purchased Alaska from Russia.

Since Denmark and Greenland have both said no, it’s a moot point.

greenland is not worth 22+ trillion ! denmark doesn't have the resources to extract the resources of greenland. They are just holding onto it out of a colonial inheritance
