I just saw a labrador dog carrying a little kitten in its mouth. What to do?

Was he going to hurt it? The kitten wasnt crying or hurt. But the dog was carrying it by its neck.

Should I call the cops on the dog?

Maybe, he was carrying it home to his family. He may have found it and felt he was helping it and especially if it was crying or mewing loudly. The dog's owners will now have to deal with it. Unless you saw him hurting the kitten, it would not be necessary to do anything. Usually you don't want to mess with a strange dog.

Maybe the Mama cat hired the Lab as a kitten sitter for the day.

The dog was just carrying the kitten. Some dogs will do that if they know the cat.

I seriously doubt that the labrador was going to hurt the little kitten he would have already done it!

Yeah, call the cops. And they'll arrest you for wasting their time.

    Is the dog black?

If he is he may try to hurt the cat and I'd consider calling 911. He may be up to no good. That kittens life may be in danger.

Yeah sure. Hopefully the dog gets detained for attempted robbery.
