Can a reform rabbi preform a orthodox conversion?

there is only one temple in town and it's reformed with a female rabbi. I wan't my conversion recognized by the chief rabbinate.

    A rabbi doesn't perform a conversion -- he or she would only teach and guide you. A Beth Din would do the conversion. They wouldn't do it unless you have been regularly attending services at an Orthodox synagogue so you will have to move. You'll be wanting to live there AFTER the conversion, too -- unless you'll be moving to somewhere else with an Orthodox synagogue.

    You *could* get a head start by taking lessons at the Reform synagogue.

    Why would anyone want to convert? It's not as if god exists, after all. Religion is pointless.
