How to prevent water weight?

I gained 4 lbs today drank 8 bottles of water and peed 3 times. I ate salt fish and a salt fish patty (loaded in salt) for breakfast. I ate about 1500 caloires so far. So it can't be fat. And i worked out for an hour today like normal. This morning I was at 238 now I'm at 242.

    It’s actually very healthy to drink that much water. I think you’ll be fine and you won’t gain any weight the next day unless you eat more calories than you burn.

    Salt + water = weight gain. You will probably lose it by tomorrow or the next day. Your weight can fluctuate a pound or two from day to day.

    Everyone ends the day heavier than where they started. The food and water you consume through the day has weight to it.

    why would you drink 8 bottles of water? that is unnecessary unless you exercise a lot
