Something weird happened at church today, has anyone else experienced this (read below)?

The subject of the sermon was transsexuals. Our pastor was talking about how being trans is a mental illness, and said we shouldn't encourage them. He raised up his arms as he led the prayer, and one of the lights above his head blew out. This was weird enough, but there was an arc of electricity between the light and his left hand. Was God sending a message or something?

If this was not a fictional story,

it would sound like some supernatural force

was telling him to shut up.

Well he was wrong, because God told me to transition. Don't know about anything else.

I guess the deity in charge was trying to electrocute him.

You would think that a God could send a better message than that. Shouldn't be too hard for him to just write a text message on the wall or appearing in person and correcting the sermon.

God doesn't exist. Everything in church is superstition. Your pastor sounds hateful.

Maybe it was God. Telling him to pipe down and get with the times.

  • Household current doesn't arc like that. Without a working light the flow of electricity stops.

Got video of this? Of course you don't.

Didn't say what caused the arc.
Just that the light blew out
and an arc connected with the hand.
      All fictional, of course.

Sounds like somebody was definitely sending him a message.
