If the 2nd amendment is unassailable and these fools wont give up their guns to protect children, ban the bullets. Bullets are not protected?

The 2nd amendment strictly protects gun ownership, but says nothing about bullets. Bullets have zero protection in the 2nd amendment.

    You are right to suggest that the way round the 2nd amendment log jamb, is the "Al Capone" option -- you legislate to make it extremely difficult and onerous to actually buy and own a weapon, without infringing on the right to own one ..

    Banning bullets would INFRINGE the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Which is a constitutional right.

    It says in black and white that you CANNOT infringe on that right.
