Exhaust fumes are one of the main causes of smog and air pollution. Surely, you realize that pollution is a problem, right?

Apart from the number of engines is increasing, I am not exactly convinced that exhaust fumes are an increasing problem. We dealt with the main problems that they represent by forcing pollution control devices onto automobiles and industrial emission sources. If you think exhaust is bad now, you have no experience in what bad truly is. It used to be a lot worse. There is still smog, and it can be bad, I have no disagreement. It could be and once was way effing worse.

They are the products of combustion, and most of it is carbon dioxide if fossil fuels are burned. Carbon dioxide is a green house gas, which traps heat below it. If the heat is trapped then temperature increases, leading to a global rise in temperature. The rise in temperature will melt glaciers, and cause changes in weather patterns and also flooding of coastal towns and cities.

It might be or it might not be, too vague a question.
