What martial art should I learn?

I love the calmness of Tai Chi, but it's more a thing that you practice with your own body instead of someone else's. Wing Chun solves the human contact aspect but it's far too aggressive to me. I want to practice martial arts to become more connected to my family and the world and be healthy.

    Wing chun is efficient and the best for self

    Defense along with jeet kun do / ( Bruce lee )

    Tai chi is aggressive as well but the forms

    May seem less aggressive to beginners.

    You may also want to blend a few martial

    Arts to get what you want from them and

    Put together what best works for you. I

    Like all three of those but like the side

    Ways moves of ninjutsu. Side rolls and

    Jumps and other things ninjas use without

    Weapons. Martial arts is complex and all

    Things are dangerous and over prioritized.

    Keep it simple and effective.

    Do 1 year of Muay Thai or Boxing then switch to mma

    if you want to get all philosophical and **** then do mediatation or yoga or some ****. martial arts should be about learning to fight. there are better ways to learn discipline or connectedness or abstract crap like that. if a martial art isnt making you a better fighter then is it even a martial art.

    If you are built well and strong, A Japanese style like Shotokan would be good. If you are smaller or slight of build, a Korean style like Tae Kwon Do would be good.

      nice answer; also,if available, Authentic Disciplines might be of interest for ~any strength etc;eg: Authentic JKA type Shotokan; Authentic complete Notcompetition onlytype Judo, which ; Authentic Types/ Styles of KF;& with an Authentic Master, Authentic Tai Chi for Health (cf than for sd)
