Even if you could bend the fabric of space to create wormholes, how possible would it be to do it with precision?

Like if you have a particular destination in mind?

I think it's going to be a very random procedure.

Who knows where you will end up?

    Gravity can bend space. But it is impossible to poke a hole in space. That would be required to form a wormhole. It would change the topology of space. General relativity does not allow topology to change. So making a wormhole is impossible.

    Relativity does permit wormholes that existed since the beginning of the universe. But they would collapse and become black holes quickly unless negative energy held them open.

    It's all science fiction based upon the gravity lie formulated by false prophet, alchemist, occultist, and secret society Grand Master Isaac Newton. he invented the mystical force of gravity to support the sun worshiping religion of heliocentrism which is itself based on the occult teachings of Hermes Trismegistus as practiced in ancient city of Heliopolis. Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, and others all based their heliocentric nonsense on his occult teachings. Quit believing in the fantasy universe created by these high priests of so-called "science."

    The most reasonable wormhole metric is the Morris-Thorne wormhole. It does not require crossing an event horizon (doesn’t need black holes) and does not require faster than light travel to traverse the wormhole. It does require prodigious amounts of negative matter/energy to hold the throat open for traversal and that negative matter/energy is not known to exist.

    In any case, the Morris-Thorne wormhole mathematically describes an already existing wormhole. It says nothing at all about the PROCESS for creating the wormhole. This would require a much more complex time dependent solution of Einstein’s general relativity. No one has constructed such a solution.

    A super massive black could bend the fabric of space. It may be possible to create a wormhole but for accuracy in destination, a roll of the dice is what you'll get.

    It seems that space is not rigid and could be folded, given proof it can warp. The power needed tough could not possibly be generated on earth, something like a supernova may do.

    The only way to control this would be to control that vast power,,maybe like focusing to some distant point and bringing those points together. It wouldn't be a wormhole per se, just the space between two points removed.

    A sci fi series, 'Terra Nova' based on this notion used a form of cosmic energy concentration to create a hypergate. but a one way ticket. A movie used some rare element where a stargate was employed with a dial up address to a companion stargate. created your wormhole between the two. A bit more far fetched and note, this was all science fiction. Another movie even suggested a form of time travel, a detective going back in time to save the life of a dead partner and girl before the events leading to their death. very entertaining bit still fantasy.

    People like to say stuff like, "Well, we could just bend the fabric of space......." Even if we knew how to do that, one thing that is certain is that the energy required to do it would be unimaginable. Like, near infinite.

    I expect that the destination would be tuneable by adjusting the angle of your [space warp thingy]. The level of precision will depend on the quality of equipment you're using, and early generations would only be accurate within a smaller radius.
