Do officers go through meps at all?

    Direct commission and OTS/OCS candidates do. Academy and ROTC scholarship applicants go through DODMERB.

    Many people's first and only exposure to MEPS is in high school when they take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). ... The ASVAB is not required for a commission as an officer.

    No. MEPS is only for Enlisted Members. Officers have a different procedure.
