Quieting down Yamaha Xvs650 vance and hines cruzers exhausts?

I have recently moved to a new house in a fairly built up area and the neighbours aren't too keen on hearing me at 5am (shift work) starting and warming up my bike.

Has anyone used a DB killer on these exhausts or have any other tips on getting away a bit quieter.

Thanks

Have used a product called Snuff Or Not on dirt-bike straight pipes years ago.

Simple twist to engage a baffle installed at the tail-end, worked pretty good.

Go back to the oem exhaust you saved... right?

I had to even braze stainless over rust holes in my CB650's mufflers, and, they don't salt the roads here in the Sonoran Desert.

Stuff fiberglass insulation, then a steel wool pad up pipes. Tap in a slightly oversized washer to hold it. Or, a loose fitting one and a couple tack welds.

Stuff wire wool up the exhaust.
