can you paint with a HLVP spray gun just as good in the deep Winter as you can in high Summer?
why, how depends?

Read your paint can/instructions. I've painted industrial coatings (non-hvlp/airless) in colder temps (50F) and had horrible results (customer was happy more or less) even though I was within the spec on the can. At 60F I was fine... but job had to get done and winter was rolling in fast. Need proper climate control if you are doing anything that needs a quality finish.

paint itself behaves differently on the surface depending on temp .. im sure the paint system will have listed right in the literature what temps are acceptable and you'll probably adjust your reducer within that range to best suit the situation ...
