When Yao Ming entered the NBA, O'Neill was the most dominant center in the league. With Howard's landing in the NBA in 2004, a debate about who is the first center of the League began. At that time, O'Neill had started to go downhill. The discussion about the first center was more between Yao Ming and Howard. So, who is stronger than Yao Ming and Howard?

First look at the data of Yao Ming and Howard in the match. They played 9 games. Yao Ming won 7 games and lost 2 games. Yao Ming contributed 23.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Yao Ming shot 56.1%, while Howard averaged 12.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game, shooting 45.1%. Comparing data, Yao Ming exploded Howard, in fact, the same is true. Every time Yao Ming and Howard match, Yao Ming can explode Warcraft. Let's look at O'Neill's comments on Yao Ming and Howard. When Yao Ming first entered the NBA, he relied on the huge Chinese fans to squeeze out O'Neill's All-Star starting center position in the first year, which O'Neill also resented. But with the increase in the number of encounters between the two, O'Neill gradually recognized Yao's strength, in interviews with Yao Ming's evaluation is very high, even in line with brothers. But for Howard, O'Neill never recognized him, or even satirized him as a soft egg, with no dominance.

In the 2012-13 season, Howard joined the Lakers and worked with Kobe Bryant for a season. The next year Howard joined the Rockets. When he returned to the Lakers, Howard not only scolded Kobe, but also had physical conflicts with him. But Kobe always criticizes Howard for his lack of fighting spirit and being a soft-core. For Yao Ming, Kobe gives a high appraisal: "He is a ruler, unfortunately he suffered injuries, but on the court, he is a ruler." In contrast, Yao Ming Howard's strength and weakness are clear at a glance.

Another interesting thing is that both Yao Ming and Howard have played for the Rockets. Both of them have followed the Rockets'great dream, Olajuwon, to learn his fantastic footsteps. As a result, the results of the two teams are quite different. We won't say much about Yao Ming's footsteps in the game. Howard's footsteps are still very fragmentary today, which shows that Howard is not as good as Yao Ming. Many people wondered who Olajuwon learned his dream steps. Olajuwon answered, "No one taught me, I created it myself. "A self-made footstep, to become the top superstar in the league, and Howard is still not taught to reach half the level of Olajuwon, which also reflects from the side that Howard's footsteps are too different from Yao Ming, so every match, Yao Ming is playing Howard without temper.

Although Yao Ming's strength is not superior to Lakers legend O'Neill's, he has a soft touch, can hit 17 feet away from the middle distance, long-term Rockets as a "technical foul penalty taker", which is incomparable to all NBA centers!

Healthy Yao Ming can be said to be one of the kaleidoscopes of inside attack in the NBA!

If Yao Ming is not so "desperate", the future of Chinese basketball may be totally different!

He’s actually good but he can’t stay healthy. He averages about 19 points and 9 rebounds per game. He averages out to 54 games per season. That’s about 2/3 of the season that he’s played.

Yao Ming can be said to be the first person in the history of Chinese basketball, not to mention how excellent his technology and glorious his honor are. On the one hand, Yao Ming joined the NBA as a champion, and played a certain dominant role in the NBA, which was recognized by NBA League executives and the International Basketball Association. He has a tremendous role in promoting the internationalization of basketball. Great effect. Such influence is not comparable to that of ordinary people.

On July 20, 2011, Yao announced his retirement from basketball in a press conference in Shanghai. He cited injuries to his foot and ankle, including the third fracture to his left foot sustained near the end of 2010.

He was probably the best player in China, mostly because he was 7'6" in a league where most players are around 6'...He was also a US player for awhile playing in the NBA for the Houston Rockets...he was good.

He is now a Chinese basketball executive
