why does my iphone 5c keep turning off and on by itself?

    It could very well be because the battery itself is old and needs to be replaced. Over time batteries wear down and they are not able to hold enough charge. There could also be some other internal issue causing this to happen, so I would recommend going to an Apple store where they can run diagnostics on your phone and let you know what's happening.
