Look at the absurdity of birthright citizenship. An illegal comes here and pops out her kid, now we are obliged to pay the illegal welfare?

How else are Democrats going to replace decades of aborted constituents? If immigration were merit based, and citizenship could only come from legal immigrants/visitors, it would really hamper Democrat efforts to replace voter rolls with another dependent class.

Yes, and at some future point that US citizen child can sponsor other family members, sometimes up to 20 or more, for immigration and welfare benefits. Trump and the Republicans are trying to end that.

No, we deport them all. The child can return when he/she is an adult.

So you would rather rip American children away from the life they know and deport them to a nation they've never been to before just because their parent gave birth to them in the US?

The problem is that conservatives assume children born to immigrants are somehow inferior and therefore cannot support themselves.
