Is brown sauce popular outside Britain?

      It looks like a brown ketchup.The taste is either tart or slightly sweet, with a peppery taste similar to that of Worcestershire sauce. It is particularly good with bacon or sausages. The most popular brand in the UK is called HP Sauce, which is made by Heinz.

    Every now & then you can still find it in Thailand. In imported foods. But banana ketchup is liked here.
