Middle Eastern folks, including Jews, are classified as Caucasians, along with Europeans. Even though they are technically Asians, they have traits that link them to Europeans, such as light skin, lots of facial and body hair, short arms and legs, a rounded torso, thin lips, and straight hair. These traits are adaptations to the cold. Since people in the Middle East live in a hot climate, there really is no reason why they should have cold adapted traits. It means they probably had ancestors that evolved in Europe 40,000 years ago and they have migrated to the area since then. Some Middle Eastern folks are even born with blond hair, showing their affiliation with Europeans.
DNA evidence also show that people in the Middle East are genetically linked to Europeans. For example, people who live in most of Italy and other parts of western Europe have the same Y chromosome haplotypes as people living in Middle Eastern countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi, Arabia, Turkey, Yemen, Syria and Israel. In fact Jews look so much like Europeans that Hitler and the Nazis had a hard time figuring out which people are Jewish by looking at them.
Of course there are also people who look like Africans living in the Middle East. These people still look like Africans because their ancestors are not adapted to cold climates. There is also some intermixing of the people in the area, so we do see some Middle Eastern people with a mix of traits. Their skin may be darker than those of many Europeans and their hair more curly.
