Are the pressure and volume of a gas sample at a constant temperature directly or inversely proportional?

Pressure and volume .....
The inverse proportionality of P and V for a confined gas at a constant temperature was discovered by Robert Boyle in 1662 .... Boyle's law.
PV = k .... and ..... P1V1 = P2V2

Supposing the quantity of gas (moles) is also constant:
The pressure and volume are inversely proportional.
