Place in Cornwall?

Im trying to remember this place in Cornwall. I thought it was called Cotehill but apparantly not.

It had an area for boats, a children park inlet next to a shop(?) and really nice places to walk. I remember going there with my school and dressing up as Victorians.

Update:

It wasnt insanely far from my home village of Calstock

Cotehele. It's a National Trust property near Callington.

The best thing about Cotehele is the old house (and its wonderful garden). The house was used not for the main family but for people like maiden aunts, and as a result the furnishings etc. were rarely updated. It's a beautiful example of how people lived centuries ago.
