Hydrogen peroxide basically kills the active cells in which it comes into contact with. This is useful on the one hand because it destroys bad bacteria. But this can also kill healthy cells. Most of the time, the few healthy cells it kills are an acceptable casualty in comparison to the bacteria it kills that we want to kill. This is virtually the same with most antiseptics. Therefore, the arguments against Hydrogen Peroxide (i.e. it kills healthy tissue) are intellectually dishonest in most cases absent special circumstances with a wound. Notably, Hydrogen Peroxide is a quite unstable compound that degrades relatively quickly into water and Oxygen gas, especially when exposed to even minimal amounts of UV light. This is why it is stored in opaque containers.

Healing ONLY because it is used to kill bacteria. Antiseptic.

    Allowing the wound to heal.

No it doesnt work to heal, its a pretty potent anti oxident and has been shown to actually destroy the new cells trying to seal the wound retarding healing actually. Water under pressure to flush out any contaminants is the best followed by just plain old soap and water

This is incorrect- Hydrogen peroxide only kills what it comes into direct contact with (which is a minimum number of healthy cells) as the compound isn't stable and degrades rather quickly into Oxygen gas and water, particularly in the presence of even minimal amounts of UV light.

The medical community makes too much money when people are sick. That's why cheap herbal medicines are not allowed to be advertised (even though they have worked for thousands of years). They want to feed you $200 pills (that cost pennies to make), which have side effects.
