I want to add 2 numbers in a single cell. For ex: 56.. 5+6=11. Please say the formula. Thanks and regards?

    =LEFT(A1,1)+RIGHT(A1,1)

    Where the two-digit number resides in cell A1

    this is in Ecell SS cell I presume?

    Where A1 is the source cell

    A1 56

    A2 = integer(A1/10)

    A3 = a1 - (a2*10)

    A4 = a2 + a3
