What is the waiver process in the national guard when enlisting?

I am interested in the national guard. I assume I need a waiver to enlist. What is the process to obtain a waiver and how far up do the papers need to go? Thanks

Update:

The waiver is for adjustment disorder.

The recruiter is the gatekeeper for the waiver process. You don't have any control over the waiver process. Though with an "adjustment disorder" separation you shouldn't expect a favorable decision.

The Recruiter is the first person you have to get past. He knows how it all works and can do a quick guess of your chances. If he thinks you have no chance at all he will not even put in the paperwork for you. Whatever you need a waiver for it will be MEPS or service doctors or personnel who will make the call, not your civilian doctor, all he can do is send a letter and make your records available.

You've already been discharged once, why would they take another chance on you?

There is NO waiver for adjustment disorder. The is DEFINED as not being able to adjust to military life.
