My advice from me to you is, STAY AWAY!

Because of the child murders, some deadly missiles fall from the Palestinian concentration camp inside the Jewish sectors of this area.

Apart from that these Jews turned green land into barren dessert. Heat and humidity is brutal! Bye bye

Israel is very safe. They do a good job of keeping the terrorists out. They make a good deal of their livelihood from tourism; naturally they have to keep it safe, or there would not be many tourists.

Safer than Ohio, Louisiana, Illinois, Kansas or Kentucky. Jews don't hurt anyone - only terrorists and nazis and evil people who try to murder us...in self defense. I wouldn't even think about it. Just go and try it out for yourself. Don't be chicken! Buck buck buck! *Doing the chicken dance* :P

Seriously, don't listen to the anti-Israel goons. They thrive on ignorance. Once you visit, take step onto the holy soil of Israel and kiss the groud, and take a breathe of fresh air, you'll see it our way! You will definately come to the realization that Israel is not a dangerous place. Not really. Its only dangerous if you get involved in drugs or hang around gangsters. Most Jews such peaceful, open, friendly people you'll probably ever meet in your life. We are as peaceful as the Amish or JW's. Most of us are prefer to use our brains than our fists.

There is ALWAYS two sides to every story. Don't believe dopey Sofia or Dolores ShayPone. Buy a ticket and book a date to fly to Israel. We need to fight ignorance with knowledge.

    Orthodox Jew

    I think Somalia-like safe.

The Jewish poster here at YA, with dozen trolling accounts, will try to paint a "nice" and "peaceful" image, but we know that this is a war zone.

Not only that but there are concentration camps with about 600 checkpoints and roads where only Jewish drivers can enter and drive through them.

    Everyone else gets shot at.

How would you choose to go to a place where there are 1000s' of crimes against humanity happening each day? I wouldn't.

    • BTW, they have a special examination called the "bedikah" and they perform it under gunpoint

Safer than anywhere else in the Middle East. However, driving in Israel can be perilous and there's a risk of sunburn.

Israel is totally safe, even for women and LGBT tourists. The stigma of the violent dangerous Middle East really doesn't hold for Israel.

Anyone here trying to tell you otherwise is either an anti-Israel troll (there are many here) or is poorly informed. Listen to your own government's official view on how safe Israel is for its citizens, not to idiots on the internet.

Certain areas should be avoided and it is always a good idea to keep an eye on the news, but generally all areas that interest tourists (and even most that don't) are safe.

The fact is Israel is a very safe country to travel to. Crime rates are low compared to other countries. The risk from hostile war-related activities to anyone traveling within Israel itself is very small. Overall, you're safer traveling in Israel than you are in most European countries or in the US.
