How close to a nuclear weapon do u need to be in order to hack into it?

Close enough to be poisoned by the radiation leaking off of it. When your hair begins to fall out, you're in!

As a former Naval Aviator, I've carried special weapons in my aircraft [See source.] and I was once the Avionics-Weapons Officer in my squadron. Which put me in charge of the maintenance of these special weapons. For the weapons I carried one had to be physically plugged into the weapon to arm it and such.
I can't speak for all the weapons everywhere, but I seriously doubt a nuke weapon can be hacked into remotely. That is to say, you'll have to be hooked up to it to gain access.Source(s): MK 101 and MK 57, both are roughly 9 KT yield.

Physical contact: they're not on computer networks.
And then, you have to defeat a pretty impressive mechanical trigger.
