Does anybody have any idea about an insulin pump?

I can't afford one and I really don't want one. I have no insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or SSI disability. My income level is too high.

This really is not a question.

What do you need to know.

It is a small device that holds a vial of insulin and has a thin tube connected to an injection patch that has a very small, soft needle.

It is designed to deliver a continued supply of insulin by automatically injecting small doses of short acting insulin on a regular basis. The dosage and frequency can be adjust based on each patients needs.

It can make managing type 1 diabetes much easier.

My brother-in-law has had one for several years now.
